The Academy of Golf



The golf academy is a sports institution that offers all interested individuals of the sport the opportunity to learn, become a professional of the sport and for fitness reasons.

The history of golf originates back to the 15th century in Scotland. There are several historians who traced the sport to the Roman game called Paganica, which the players used a stick to hit a leather ball.

Golf is a ball sport, in which players compete against each other using several types of clubs to hit the balls into several holes of the golf course with the usage of fewer number of strokes. This sport is one of the few ball sport games, which not required a standard playing area. This sport is played in golf courses, which features a unique design. All courses of the sport have either nine or eighteen holes. The golf academy instructs their students about the different courses available for the sport.

The rules of golf academy are internationally standardized and governed by The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews (R&A), which was founded on 1754. The golf equipment that the players are mandatory to have are the following: Golf club, ball, golf shoes, golf cart and golf bag. The academy of golf training consist of several golf lessons, which are provided to the students for a successful learning of the sport. These students usually attend a variety of golf tournaments, which are very helpful for the skill improvement
