The Academy of Football

The football academy is a sport academy that focuses on the sport of football. The academy of football main mission is to offer all aspiring individuals the opportunity to learn about this sport and to receive football training, physical conditioning and the basic principles, fundamentals, techniques and football skills of this worldwide famous sport. Football is a sport that is played with two teams of eleven players each with the objective to score points by advancing the ball into the end zone of the opposite team. Football is also known as Gridiron because of the arrangement lines on the field, which is similar to the pattern of lines of a cooking grill.

The history of the football academy can be traced back to earlier versions of Rugby football. This sport has origins of the variety of football that was played on the U.K during the 19th century. This sport grew off a game played between McGill University and Harvard in 1874. The football equipment is the following: Shoulder pads, mouthguard, helmet, knee pads and hip pads. This sport is known as a collision sport. This equipment is for a secure protection of the players. Most of the injuries that sports dentistry specialists receive are from football players.
